The purpose of this blog is to hopefully discuss digital marketing measurement in an accessible manner with the end goal being that I have shared some useful insights into an ever evolving online landscape.
However, I must firstly admit that until recently I could have been classed as a ‘technophobe’, in that interaction between me and a computer was on an ‘if-needs-must’ basis.
That being said, I have always had an interest in investigating anything that reflects a positive change within society (and damning anything that does not!), so it was inevitable that I would have to enter the world of digital to see what all the fuss was about…
And here I am.
I am currently studying digital marketing part-time, which has opened up this world to me in a very dynamic, hands-on way for which I am grateful. I am also currently working in ActionAid Ireland‘s fundraising & communications department.
Thus, using these as a primary tools, allow me to examine digital marketing measurement, in all its glory, through the eyes of a self proclaimed novice turned (hopefully by the end) digi expert!
